Work Flow.

Tyler Castings Pewter Models Ltd, 2000/2002
Model Maker

Model Making for Tyler Castings. Designing and building models to be produced in pewter for the collectors market as well as special one off projects. Working closely with clients to achieve a desired result such as building 25 models of Aston Martin 1/5th scale V12 engines, special Trophies for a classic car racing series held at Silverstone and a collection of modern artillery and tanks for the M.O.D.


Caesars Night Club. 2002/2003

Interior Designer & Illustrator

Interior Design for a new Nightclub venue called Caesars at the Westside club. The first stage involved research into Roman history and then a 3-month design phase creating the new look of the nightclub interior. The second stage involved working with the client, builders and craftsmen to achieve the desired look and finally the third stage. The painting of ten full size wall murals, Including Roman Emperors, Senators, Gods and Goddesses. This also included the painting of marble and stone effects through out the entire room.    

             
Worcester BOSCH Thermotechnology UK Ltd. 2003
Research & Development Model Engineer

Research & Development department of Worcester BOSCH. This includes building Models of concept parts and working prototypes for heating purposes, building parts and appliances for display and exhibitions. I also dealt with the research and dismantling of competitor’s products to analyse and improve on and gain an upper hand in a competitive market. This involves working closely with Design Engineers and Development Engineers to achieve the best possible outcome using such equipment as lathes, milling machines, power tools and hand tools, using various materials such as steel, aluminium, brass, copper and composites, also plastics including ABS, PVC, polypropylene, polyurethane, Styrofoam, nylon, acrylic, Perspex and acetylene.
I have also introduced a new working system in our Engineering Workshop in which
Better communication can be achieved between all Departments in
Research & Development at Worcester BOSCH.

Producing, sculpting and painting armour for film and television as well as specialists collectors market.

Developed a new workshop set up targeted for the film industry, Produced new techniques and paint process. I worked closely with the Birmingham Institute of Art & Design which allowed selected students to come and work on big movie projects.
